No But Here

“When one door of happiness closes, another opens…” Helen Keller goes on with a “but” ~ but, I don’t have a “but.” I’m not pondering or fretting like other times when I’ve “…often look so long at the closed door that we do not see the one which has been opened for us.” Nope! I’m wide-eyed, ready to take the next step.

My attitude/altitude is: one step at a time, always moving forward. I’m comforted knowing in my heart it’s the right time to close the shop. I welcome the change that begins tomorrow!

The business side of Lanetta’s Creations, the one that created “Handmade in Texas” items such as aprons of all sizes and doll clothes for 18 inch dolls, ends today. It’s been a fun journey.

I’ve thoroughly enjoyed the creation aspect and knowing folks bought award-winning quality items! I especially enjoyed the custom orders, the special aprons and doll clothes to meet the specific desires of a client. You all know who you are! Thank you for your support!

All items in the shop are on sale! When you use coupon code Happy at checkout, you’ll see a 30% off price change!

This “Lanetta’s Creations” blog, however, will remain active, because I remain active! It’s just time to move on, maybe turn the remaining aprons into something else ~ like quilts! I’ll someday share where what’s left of the doll clothes end up!

Yes! I am having a 30% off sale in my Artfire Studio, through the end of August (use coupon code Happy at checkout). It is the last sale ever! I’m closing the shop in September. It’s not to say I’ll never do any special requests/orders for aprons or 18” doll clothes when notified via email, but the Artfire website will no longer be active.

All proceeds from sale of items currently in the shop will benefit the community project of creating Quilts of Valor (QOV). I’ve chosen to do this in service to my country. Our veterans touched by war, and our current military that have served in harms way, have given so much, it is the least I can do.
